| I’m an
avid outdoorsman who has spent the past 25 years hunting and fishing.
I can remember tagging along with my father as he deer and squirrel hunted
West Tennessee. I discovered duck hunting back in high school and have
been hooked ever since. I’ve traveled and hunted from coast to coast
in pursuit of these feathered wonders.
My love of the outdoors has grown through the years and because of these
experiences I have learned the trade of taxidermy. I, like most hunters,
had a trophy mounted by the local taxidermist when I finally had enough
money to do so. Back then, if you’d seen one mounted duck then you’d
seen them all. About ten years ago, I decided to learn the art of taxidermy
and to specialize in the birds I have spent years learning about. I’ve
spent thousands of hours observing waterfowl, which has given me an understanding
of the habits and characteristics of the many species found throughout
the country. I believe this understanding has led me to be a better taxidermist.
My goal has been to become more than the "local " taxidermist but the
taxidermist of choice. My main concern is to have a satisfied customer
who leaves with the fulfillment of having a mount worthy of their memories.
